Happy New Year members.

We have some excellent news.

Late last year we applied to the Kiwi Gaming Foundation for a grant to cover our Material Damage insurance premium of $19,455. We received notification that our application has been approved.
We sincerely thank the Kiwi Gaming Foundation for their generosity.

That grant will free up valuable funds for some of the  capital expenditure projects that have been delayed due to our expenditure in our search for irrigation water.
The Committee will determine the greatest priority projects when we next meet.

On other news, our green fee income which was significantly behind last year for most of December (due to bad weather), has been excellent over the holiday period and we have more than regained that lost ground. The course is in fantastic condition.

It has been a great start to 2026 for the Club.
Best wishes to you all for a fantastic year ahead.

Kind regards
Graham, on behalf of the Committee

We are hosting the Legends Senior Pro Am Championship on the 31st of January and the 1st of February. This is the 9th running of this event and the 3rd time as a two day championship event.

We will have 42 individual teams of 3 players and 64 golf professionals making a total field of 190 players. Its going to be a huge event and an important weekend for the club.

The format of the day is best 3 stableford points per hole including the pro.

The draw including tee times will be available on the website on the 27th of January.

This event would not be possible without the generous support of all our sponsors but in particular The Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa. Thank you all so much.

The course will be closed for members and green fees from 2pm 30th January until after the event. Thank you for your understanding.

Ken Williams had this unfairway lie last week.

This one required a foot wedge to get back on track.
