Christmas Hours at the Club

• December 23^rd      8:00am – 6pm
• December 24th:    8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• December 25th:    Office Closed but honesty box in operation.
• December 26th:    8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• December 27th -   29th: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• December 30^th      8:00am – 6:00pm
• December 31st:    8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• January 1st:           9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• January 2nd:          Course closed for Cancer Society Tournament until 230pm.

Christmas Hamper Fun at the Club

The Club members celebrated the festive season with a successful and enjoyable Christmas Golf Tournament on December 16th. The event attracted over 40 participants, who competed in 18 holes of stableford format, while wearing their best Christmas costumes and decorations.

The winner of the mens tournament was Garry Ritsma, who scored an impressive 44 stablefords, and the ladies tournament was won by Carolyn Williams with another impressive score of 41 stablefords.

The runners up in the ladies were Jade Sadler 39pts, Anne Galloway 39pts, Louise Pearce 34pts.      

The runners up in the men’s were Greg Samson 41pts, Ken Williams 40pts, Fred Saunders 39pts, Steve Gill 39pts, and Neil Duncan 39pts.

After the tournament, the golfers enjoyed refreshments and delicious sandwiches and pies prepared by the wonderful Liz. The club’s president, Jeff Dalley, thanked everyone for their support and contribution, and wished them a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

The Christmas Golf Tournament was a great success. The club looks forward to hosting more events and activities in the coming year and invites everyone to join them for a round of golf anytime.

On Wednesday 13^th Mike accompanied a group of ladies to Hawarden for their Christmas day out round of golf and then a late lunch at the Culverden Hotel.
